Poland and Slovakia in view Jaguar Land Rover as bidders for the construction of a new plant in Europe. The final decision will be taken in the coming months. The new plant will start operating since 2019 and will produce 350,000 cars a year.
Both governments seek to get this production. For instance, the Poles today hold talks with representatives of JLR, because, if successful, it will be the largest investment in the automotive industry of the country.
Earlier it was reported that Jaguar Land Rover has agreed with the company Magna Steyr, to produce cars in Austria. In October last year, the British opened a factory in China, and in 2016 production will be operational in Brazil, Mexico and perspectives are considered.
